Useful information for visitors
ON ARRIVAL
Please check the location of your accommodation; Memorial Court or The Colony. Guests should register at the appropriate Porters' Lodge where your room key will be issued. Rooms are available from 3pm on your arrival day.
ON DEPARTURE
On the day of departure, visitors are asked to vacate their rooms by 9.30 a.m on weekdays and 10am on weekends.

SATELLITE NAVIGATION SYSTEMS
Please note, if using a satellite navigation system, the postcode for Memorial Court takes you behind the College. Once you arrive at Queens Road, continue along until you see the large black gates and a sign saying Clare College, Memorial Court.
PARKING
Clare College offer parking at a nearby sports ground which can be arranged by a member of the conference team. The postcode for this parking is CB3 0EQ.
Public car parks are available at Park Street and the Grand Arcade both 300 meters from the College in central Cambridge.
TAXIS
The Porters in both Memorial, Old Court and the Colony lodges can arrange taxis on request.
ACCOMMODATION SERVICES
All rooms are provided with tea/coffee making facilities, towels and toiletries. Bed linen is changed every five days for long stay guests. A clean towel will be supplied every day. Beds are made and serviced every day apart from Sundays.
LAUNDRY SERVICES
Delegates are welcome to use the student laundry facilities in Memorial Court. Please ask the Porters' for further information.
MEAL ARRANGEMENTS
Breakfast is served from 07.45 - 09.00 in the Buttery, unless otherwise specified. The Buttery is a 5 minute walk down the Avenue to Old Court.
SECURITY
The College gates will normally be locked at midnight but the Memorial Court and Old Court Porters' Lodge are staffed 24 hours a day. It is not possible to walk through Old Court after midnight therefore, Garrett Hostel Lane should be used to access Memorial Court from the town centre if returning late.
It is strongly recommended that delegates lock their rooms at all times. The College is not insured for loss or theft of any items belonging to visitors to the College.
ANIMALS
Please note that pets are not allowed in the College.
COLLEGE BAR
The bar, which is open by prior arrangement, is located downstairs near the Buttery in Old Court.
ILLNESS
The College has first aid facilities but has no resident medical staff. In an emergency, the Porters' Lodge in Memorial Court, which is staffed 24 hours a day, should be contacted.
